Mission House
The Religious Order which established New Hall School, the Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre, was founded in 1642 in the city of Liège, in what is now Belgium. The Community eventually settled at New Hall in January 1799, and lived at New Hall until 2005.
Today, the Religious Sisters live, work and pray together in Priories in the UK, Belgium, Spain and Africa. These individual Priories are united in an Association dedicated to prayer, service and community.
This Mission House acts as a living bridge, strengthening our global bonds and bringing the worldwide work of the Canonesses directly into the heart of our School.

In July 2025, four Sisters (Daughters of the Resurrection) joined the New Hall community from the Priory of the Resurrection, Rwanda. The arrival of the Sisters highlights the long tradition of collaboration between the Priories of the Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre.
The Sisters are involved with School life, forming positive relationships with students across the School, participating in prayer and worship, and supporting fundraising initiatives for the Mission House in Rwanda.
