Summer School benefits
New Hall Summer School will provide an exciting, all-round, British experience, combining language study with a range of activities. The course content of our programme is stimulating and informative. The Summer School will improve English language skills and build confidence to access educational courses in the UK.
Our staff
The New Hall Summer School is staffed by our dedicated and motivated teaching and support staff, who are passionate about giving their students a culturally-enriching experience. The programme is also supported by our alumni, New Hallians, who can share their experiences of a UK independent school education and support the students to familiarise themselves with the learning environment.
Our students
The School has high standards of discipline and behaviour with well-behaved, polite children. The School prides itself on the nurture and exceptional support provided for all its students.
New Hall has an inclusive Catholic ethos, where students from many faiths, or no faith, are welcomed.
Stimulating timetable
A typical day in our Summer School runs from 7.00am to 10.00pm, every day of the week. Students are fully immersed in our programme and will take part in English lessons, talent academies, clubs, and excursions.
Talent academies
Every student will join a talent academy to provide an opportunity to learn about a particular subject in English, including topic-specific vocabulary.
Excursions
Socialising with students from many different countries is also key, with lots of entertainment planned to ensure our students have the best possible experience. This includes three excursions a week, combining cultural trips with fun outings so that our students can experience life in Britain outside the classroom environment, and put their English skills into practice.
Stunning heritage setting
New Hall is an exceptional heritage site, with a beautiful tree-lined Avenue, and the magnificent former Tudor palace building, with the historic Chapel and Tudor coat of arms at its centre. Based on a 70-acre site, New Hall is set in an idyllic and convenient location, just 35 minutes by train from London and within easy reach of all major London airports.
The main building occupies the magnificent former Tudor palace of Beaulieu, once owned by the family of Anne Boleyn, Oliver Cromwell and King Henry VIII. It is a stunning location and an inspirational place to learn. All students, attending the School, are offered single-study bedrooms.
