It was another fantastic day over the bank holiday weekend at the start of May 2023 for the New Hall Ski Team at the ERSA Schools Ski Championships, held in Suffolk. There were some incredible performances from across the team competing against 300 skiers, with many of our younger skiers racing for the first time.

Congratulations to all the medal winners:

• U14A team won Gold in the team event: Lucas C, Rob B (both Year 8), Leo G & Rafferty B (both Year 7)
• U14B team won Silver in the team event: Toby S, Cameron M, Frankie G (all Year 8), and Francis B (Year 9)
• U14 Mixed team won Bronze in the team event: Anya R, Isabella C (both Year 8), Roberta G & Ben H (both Year 7)
• U16 Mixed team won Gold in the team event: Millie P, Nathaniel H, Freesia Y (all Year 9) and Max P (Year 10)
• U19 Mixed team won Silver in the team event: Alex P, Eleanor G and Freya D (all Year 11)
• Millie P – 3rd fastest U16 girl
• Freesia Y – 5th fastest U16 girl
• Alex P – 1st U19 boys and fastest racer of the day
