We recently received news of our students’ success at the ISA Eastern Regional Heat, held at St Nicholas School. New Hall entered in 16 categories, spanning across Art disciplines, Photography and Textiles, and claiming 12 awards overall in the senior categories. Congratulations to Freya I. (Year 11) who won the KS4 Textiles category and Emily H. (Alumna 2022) who won the KS5 Drawing category, both making it to the National Final.

New Hall students also achieved 2nd and Highly Commended Awards as follows:

2nd place: Phoebe H. (Year 10), Jinny J. (Alumna 2022), Harry I. (Alumnus 2022), Niamh W. (Alumna 2022), Tilly H. (Year 7), Imogen W. (Year 12), Jade H. (Alumna 2022).

Highly Commended: Praise I. (Year 12), Phoebe H. (Year 10), Jade H. (Alumna 2022).

In the ISA National Final, Emily H. (Alumna 2022) and Freya I. (Year 11) received a 2nd place in the KS5 Drawing and a Highly Commended (equivalent to 3rd place) in the KS4 Textiles categories respectively. These successes make it 13 podium awards in three years for the New Hall Art Department at the National Art Finals.
