Fourteen of our Year 12 students competed in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge this summer. Poppy, Charlotte, Toby, and Haylie won Silver (Ag) Awards, and Grace, Amelia, Samuel, Peter, and Yurila won Copper (Cu) Awards.

Set by a team of university chemists, the Challenge encourages students to build and use their knowledge of science beyond the A Level syllabus. It is, however, designed to be accessible to those in Year 12 while stretching them to think about science in the way that they would as an undergraduate.

The UK-wide competition has been running for five years and participants complete a 90-minute paper at school. Congratulations to all for taking up this demanding challenge.
