New Hall School offers scholarships and awards at Year 5, Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form, which confer a number of benefits and responsibilities. The School celebrates the honour of all achievements.
Students who win scholarships or awards gain an important benefit in terms of public recognition, as well as university/apprenticeship/job applications and references. The financial value of scholarships normally ranges from £250pa to £5,000pa.

Our Music scholars and award holders play a key role in the School community, participating in concerts and liturgies.
The following Music Awards are available at entry points, with a 50% discount on one instrument/singing:

Drum kit/Percussion Award

Strings Award
Woodwind Award
Additionally, high achieving candidates may be awarded the Year 7 St Cecilia Music Scholarship, the Year 9 Music Scholarship or the Sixth Form Fardell Scholarship. An Outstanding Performer Award (Music) may be offered to a student who has demonstrated exceptional prior achievement (conservatoire level performance) and has the potential to perform at national and international level.

Catholic & Diocesan Scholarships
Recipient of these scholarships make significant contributions to the Chaplaincy and liturgical life of the School.
As a Catholic school, New Hall School offers multiple scholarships for Catholic students, whether joining New Hall from a Catholic school or not, as well as Diocesan Scholarships, which may be offered to practicising Catholics that are in the top quartile academically.

Armed Forces Award
Armed Forces Award
The New Hall Armed Forces Award for full boarders (girls and boys aged 7-19) ensures that families in this category only pay 10% of the annual full boarding fee. The full boarding fees are discounted for those in receipt of MOD Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA).
If the candidate is awarded a scholarship/award for outstanding performance, this will confer scholar’s privileges and the relevant accolades, but will be represented by a non-monetary Honorary Award.
