New Hall School, Chelmsford, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Beaulieu Padel, becoming the title sponsor of the ‘Beaulieu Padel New Hall Arena’, one of the UK’s leading indoor padel facilities, in the heart of Essex. The cornerstone of this partnership is a shared vision to create an inspiring, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment, where young people can thrive through sport.

Located just two minutes from New Hall School, Beaulieu Padel features six state-of-the-art courts, complete with cutting-edge perimeter lighting beneath a 13-metre-high roof, enabling year-round play in all weather conditions. In a creative move, additional facilities to support the development of padel include: a warmup gym, recovery suite and wellness rooms. There are also viewing mezzanines, a spacious cafe and bar, and dedicated work areas. Beaulieu Padel, home of the British Padel Academy, boasts a team of in-house coaches led by renowned coach Dan Troy. Players from grassroots to elite level, including GB players, benefit from the expert coaching available at Beaulieu Padel.

The partnership will create exciting opportunities for the New Hall School and the wider community, providing access to specialist coaching and premium padel facilities.

Mrs Katherine Jeffrey, Principal of New Hall School, said: “This partnership represents an exciting new chapter for Sport at New Hall. Padel has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports and appeals to students of all abilities, particularly those within our international boarding community. Through our collaboration with Beaulieu Padel, we can provide our School community with outstanding facilities, coaching, and development opportunities, enabling students to discover new talents, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of sport.”

Mark Brampton, Director of Beaulieu Padel, said: “Our distinctive approach is that all sponsorship money is being utilised in supporting the development of children and young people at Beaulieu Padel.”

Directors of Beaulieu Padel, Wendy Hunt and Wendy Brampton, said: “We are delighted to welcome New Hall School as our Title Sponsor. Together, we share a passion for developing all young people through sport and creating opportunities that inspire participation, ambition and excellence. Every child deserves the opportunity to play, to learn and to belong; inclusivity is at the heart of our approach. We look forward to working closely together to grow the game of padel and support the next generation of players.”

“Beaulieu Padel aspires to become the centre of excellence for Padel in the UK. Currently several of our players have been selected for the FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup 2026, in Portugal in June, including New Hall student, Rosie Q.”

New Hall recently introduced padel to its co-curricular programme, providing students with the opportunity to experience the sport through a dedicated Padel Week. Sessions were led by the School’s Head of Tennis & Padel, Mr Jakes, who introduced students to the game’s unique blend of skill, strategy and teamwork.

New Hall School is nurturing talented young padel players, including Rosie Q, a Year 11 student who has been selected to represent GB for the second consecutive year at the FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup 2026, in Portugal. New Hall’s Director of Sport, Jason Bigara, who will be in Portugal to support Rosie and Beaulieu Padel players, said: “Rosie is regarded as one of the country’s most promising young padel athletes and is an excellent example of the opportunities available to young people through the sport.”

Mr Jakes said: “Rosie, who recently won the best young talent award (under 18) at the British Padel Awards 2026, is a phenomenal athlete and we are proud of what she has achieved during her time at New Hall.”

Padel’s growing popularity in the UK has made it one of the country’s most exciting emerging sports. Recent figures from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) show that more than one million adults and juniors are now playing the sport nationwide, reflecting its growing popularity across all age groups.

This collaboration presents more than sponsorship; it is a long-term partnership in youth development, community engagement, and the future of padel within the region and beyond.
