Congratulations to Asher in Year 9, who has been selected for the England Talent Programme Training Camp, as part of the England Basketball pathway. Those elite players selected for June’s three-day event at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester will be assessed during national team activities, with those successful becoming part of this summer’s England national teams.

Asher’s basketball career so far includes playing in the Aspire East Region U15 team and the New Hall U18 Team, as well as captaining the Essex County U15 Team and the New Hall U14 Team.

Head of Basketball, Mr Liburd praised Asher’s determination and versatility, “A County Championship MVP, Asher is hard-working player, who is always trying to learn and grow”.
